BE-FIT REMOTE COACHING FAQ

What is the Body Evolution Body plan?

Body Evolution body plan offers you a realistic and flexible route to dieting whilst reaching your goals. Our plan will provide you with your set calories and macros, exercise plan, videos to watch, recipes to try and offer you full education on nutrition and fitness.

————

What food do I have to eat, and what foods are banned?

There is no food off limit! We really mean that. We will educate you how to get 3 quarters of your daily caloric intake from nutritious food , whilst the other quarter you can fill with your favourite treats if you want. You eat the food you love.

—————

Can I just follow the nutritional plan and do my own workouts.

Yes, absolutely.  it is completely up to you whether you follow the exercise or not.  Here at Body Evolution, we believe you need to living an active lifestyle to gain the best results but it doesn't matter if you are working out at the gym or at home or just walking the kids to school and back? (to burn calories) it is totally up to you, obviously depending on your goals.

—————–

Will the exercises be too hard for me?

We will set your program around what you’re capable of doing, so if you’re up for going to the gym then we have a program that will suit you, however say you’re just starting out, not quite ready for the gym or have trouble just moving about then we will set you realistic goals to help you progress to the next level.

—————–

Can I still do the workouts if I have a gym membership?

Please do! You can request any workout for any place, all you have to do is use the "Request Workout" feature on the app and your chosen coach will send you a workout that matches your goals and available equipment.

—————–

What equipment will I need for the home workouts?

Weights such as dumbbells and kettlebells will really maximise your results and help you master good technique.

The following can be purchased from online fitness equipment stores, Amazon or Aldi:

  • 2 x pairs of dumbbells (1 light pair, 1 heavy pair). A good starting point if you’re totally new to any form of strength/resistance training would be 4-8kgs (approx 9-17lbs) for the light pair and 10-15kgs (approx 20-35lbs) for the heavy pair.

  • 1 x Kettlebell - if you're new to free weights (like kettlebells) start with 8kg (17lbs), but if you're more advanced anywhere up to 16kg (35lbs) will be perfect!

  • 1 x Swiss ball 9stability ball)

  • 1 X TRX or suspension trainer

  • 1 x floor mat

  • 1 x red resistant band

—————–

Am I too old?

Never! You can transform your body and mind at any age. Remember to only do what you can do – if you can’t do an exercise I'll either help you modify it or just march it out until you feel comfortable. If you’re concerned, have a chat with your doctor before committing.

—————–

What if I've missed a day?

Don’t freak out if you miss a day, we all have bad ones occasionally! Just come back and do the workout, meal or sleep meditation you missed on another day.

—————–

How much water do I need to drink?

LOTS! To maximise results, you’ll need to drink at least 2 litres – and even more when you’re training and the weather is warm. I always start the day with a big glass of water and ALWAYS carry a full water bottle on me. If you want to pimp up your water, try adding fresh lemon, orange or even cucumber slices to your glass; or make up a big jug and fill it with your favourite fruits. Drinking herbal tea is also a great way to increase your water intake.

Drinking plenty of water can:

  • Prevent headaches due to dehydration

  • Make your skin glow and clear your complexion

  • Increase athletic performance

  • Keep you fuller for longer

—————

Full fat or low fat?

It’s time to bust the biggest food myth (well kind of) of all. Always choose FULL fat. Foods in their closest to original form are less processed and good fats actually keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Same goes for yogurt and cheese – just be mindful of your portion size

—————

Can I go out & eat?

Of course! Shelley and I love date night. we've got to enjoy the good things in life, but just don't go out every night of the week and when you do go out:

  1. Go easy (as in don’t fill up) on carby things like rice, bread, couscous or potatoes.

  2. Stick to protein and vegetables or salad, and/or soups. Share a dessert!

  3. Limit alcohol – a couple of drinks is okay, any more and you’re just adding empty calories.

  4. Remember tomorrow is another day. If you fell off the wagon today, don’t freak out. Start again at breakfast tomorrow.

—————

I am Vegetarian/pescatarian/vegan and have food allergies, can I do the plan?

There will be recipes for all different dietary requirements available. But you don't have to follow the recipes, you can also choose the food you eat, we just show you how much to eat!
